In the late 1960’s Mark Southwick joined his father, Clyde, into the commercial pumping service business. Mark’s motto was customer was always first, and do the job right the first time. In 2002, Mark hired Travis Taylor and instilled in him not only he core business regimen, but also his deeply held philosophy that the customer always comes first. After Mark died unexpectedly in 2005, his wife Julie, son Jarred, along with Travis, kept Mark’s dream alive by continuing the company in his honor.
During the transition no customer was lost. In fact, the company continued to grow despite the devastating loss of its leader. Together the trio is not only keeping alive a family tradition, but running a solid business that meets a vital need for business and industries. Today, Julie serves as president of the company, but she continues to work side by side with her team to insure that the customers come first. She took that knowledge, added her own strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities to build a company that is highly regarded in the community. She believes in building relationships with her customers.
